For years, Teak in Red Bank has been known for dishing up delicious Asian-American cuisine.

The restaurant recently gave diners something else to love: a rooftop bar. The space is a 2,500-square-foot indoor lounge with a 40-foot bar and 1,000 square feet of outdoor space.

The rooftop is open until 1:30 a.m. Thursdays through Saturdays; owner George Lyristis said additional days will be added. The space features live music from a band or deejay each night, and happy hour. Lyristis also has plans for open mic and trivia nights, as well as the addition of a fire pit.

As for food, bargoers can enjoy small bites from Teak’s restaurant menu, which includes barbecue Korean tacos, French onion soup dumplings, pork pot stickers and pork belly buns.

Teak is at 64 Monmouth St. For more information, call 732-747-5775, http://teakrestaurant.com or search Teak Rooftop on Facebook.
